Maria Picek has been with the Child and Family Resource Network since September 2020 as a Quality Recognition and Information System coach and is currently the state lead coach and assessor for the Quality Care South Dakota initiative. Picek has experience working with childcare centers as a resource teacher, lead teacher in the k-prep classroom, as well as mentoring new employees at the center before joining the Child and Family Resource Network. Picek is determined to assist the many different childcare providers and out-of-school time programs to achieve their goals in growing and creating quality practices within their programs. She also supervises and assists other coaches in Region 4.
