The Department of Biology and Microbiology seeks to do more than simply train future employees for the job market; its seeks to foster future leaders.

Established in 2012, Biology and Microbiology Graduate Student Association is an independent student representative body for graduate students in the department of biology and microbiology. We provide student support, services, events and professional development. We also present a series of scientific seminars and social activities to gather all young scientists under the same umbrella. Many events are hosted per semester by the Biology and Microbiology Graduate Student Association.
