About the School of Performing Arts

On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of the School of Performing Arts, welcome! We are thrilled that you have expressed interest in learning about our program.
The school is a new academic structure. Formed in 2017, we are a group of learners who function like a family. Many programs claim that mantle, but few truly live it. Our faculty proudly serve as artistic “parents” to our students. Faculty are highly knowledgeable about their craft and are uniquely qualified to bring students to new levels of excellence.
There is nothing more rewarding than to collaborate with others in a performance. The most precious memories that students make while in college are often the experiences they have on one of our stages. The relationships they develop while performing will be friendships that will last a lifetime.
Please take a few moments to explore the information on our website. The site serves as an introduction to our degree options, scholarship programs, staff expertise and performance opportunities. We believe you will soon understand why so many students choose ֱapp, and why they choose to be involved in the performing arts in college.
If you have any questions about our majors, performance opportunities or our scholarship application process, do not hesitate to contact me directly. Are you coming to campus soon? Visit our program while you are here. You may call the school’s office at 605-688-5187 or the ֱapp Admissions Office at 800-952-3541 to set up an appointment.
Sincerely,
David Reynolds, DMA
