University Student Union
The University Student Union is the heart of campus life at South Dakota State University — built with students in mind. It’s more than just meeting rooms; it’s a buzzing hub where there’s always something going on.
Grab a snack, chill by the fireplace, check your email, scroll your socials, shop for Jackrabbits gear, meet up with friends, or swing by one of the student service centers — like the offices of Career Development, Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility, or Student Activities. Whether you’re here to get stuff done or just hang out, the union has a spot for every part of your college life.
Something’s always happening — and you’re always invited.
Explore our upper level and discover the newly renovated Office of Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility.
Venture to the lower level and find you’ll come across the Hobo Day Office, the Collegian (student-produced campus newspaper), KSDJ (the student radio station) and BluePrint (student-run design and print center).
The interactive map allows users to plot directions between buildings and show locations of highlighted features and services across the º£½ÇÖ±²¥app campus. Click on the image below to direct you to the º£½ÇÖ±²¥app interactive map.

We also have The Market food court, Chick-fil-A, Einstein Brothers Bagels, Weary Wil’s Sports Grille and Union Coffee (for your caffeine fix) located on the main level. And let’s not forget the tons of cozy places to study or hang out with friends!
